A collective to support preparation and integration of altered states of consciousness

  • Life After is a collective dedicated to helping people prepare for and integrate psychedelic experiences.

The psychedelic experience is just one point in a much longer journey. Although the experience itself may feel profound and paradigm shifting, it can be difficult to integrate it back into “normal” life, particularly if someone does not have the language, community, or tools.

The preparation for a psychedelic journey likewise offers oftentimes untapped potential. Not just in terms of physical or dietary preparation, but in relation to planting seeds for exploration within the mind, heart, and spirit.

We offer a guided process for integrating psychedelic experiences that is curated specifically for one person and adapted to their particular intentions, interests, needs, and comfort level with varying degrees of woo. It may involve movement, art, engaging with non-psychoactive plants like tea or tobacco, ritual, tarot, storytelling, meaning making, and more.

  • Life After is not talk therapy or life coaching. In fact, we encourage people to combine this service with traditional therapy. We are also not facilitators—we do not provide psychedelic substances nor do we guide people on psychedelic journeys.

  • The reasons for engaging with psychedelics are multifold and overlapping, including healing, spirituality, personal growth and self-awareness, creativity, connection, play, and fun. We help support the safe exploration of psychedelics for all these reasons and more.

We work with people with all levels of preexisting familiarity or experience with psychedelics, including those who are completely new to these types of journeys.

  • We work with participants to determine who from the collective will best serve their needs and assess how many sessions will be of benefit.

Accessibility is incredibly important to us, so we offer a sliding pricing model based on income. We offer some sessions at no cost to those who would otherwise be unable to participate. Also, once a month we offer a free group integration circle facilitated by a collective member.

A portion of all fees goes towards the conservation and defense of ancestral knowledge via the AWE Foundation.

  • We are currently students of the AWE Foundation’s psychedelic therapy training program, and we come to this work from a diverse range of professional, educational, and spiritual backgrounds.
